The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide students with a general knowledge on numerical methods for initial and boundary value problems for ordinary and partial differential equations, and develop skills needed to choose and implement the right numerical method for a given problem.

Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : learn about the numerial methods used for initial and/or boundary value problems
LO - 2 : analyse weak and strong aspects of various mathods and choose and implement the right method for a given problem
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), LO : Learning Outcome
