Contents of the Course
Introduction, monosaccarides, anomers of glucose, mutarotation, general properties of monosaccarides, oxidation of monosaccarides, reductive saccarides, reduction of monosaccarides, conversion to epimers, chain shorterning, chain extension, glicoside formation, disaccarides, polisaccarides, cellulose, reactions of cellulose, glycogene, heteropolisaccarides, sweeteners, carbohydrate antibiotics.
