The aim of the course:
to know basic reaction mechanisms in organic chemistry, displacement, separation and addition reactions.

Contents of the Course
Alkyl halides, nucleophilic substitution reactions, SN1 and SN2 reaction mechanisms, alkene and alkynes: alkyl halides by elimination reactions, synthesis of alkenes by dehydration of alcohols, synthesis of alkynes by halogen elinimation from vicinal dihalides, reactions to alkynes and alkynes, free radical substitution and alkanes halogenation, alcohol and ethers: synthesis of alcohols from alkenes, reactions of alcohols. Synthesis of alcohols from carbonyl compounds: oxidation, reduction and organometallic compounds. Conjugated unsaturated systems and conjugated dienes. Reactions and mechanisms of aromatic compounds.
