The aim of the course:
To explore the language of the claissical legal texts of Islam

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Relates the emergence of classical classification of law in Islam 1,2,3,5,61,2
LO - 2 : Describes the different types of legal literature in Islam 1,3,4,5,61,2
LO - 3 : Compares the doctrines of different legal schools 1,2,3,5,61,2
LO - 4 : Tells in comparative perspective the main tenets of ritual rules in Islam 1,4,5,61,2
