The aim of the course:
Application and demonstration of theoretical courses that are lectured and help students get familiar with the typical equipments in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.

Contents of the Course
Sample preparation for metallography and examination using optical microscopes, Tension Test, Impact Test, Hardness Test (Brinell, Vickers and Rockwell Hardnss Tests), Bending Test, Fracture Toughness, Microhardness, Analysis of X-Rays Diffraction and Pattern, Metal Powders Sintering, Heat treatment of Steels (Normalizing, Hardening , Tempering, Annealing).
