The aim of the course:
To provide the necessary knowledge about the software and hardware used in SCADA (remote control and supervision center) technology, which is used in almost every field where automation is used today, and to bring it to a level where it can be used in field applications in the field of automation.

 Week 1Definition of SCADA system, its place in automation, general structure, functions and usage areas.
 Week 2SCADA software, what is expected from the software, the place of SCADA in the business system
 Week 3Communication networks, network types, local networks, wide area networks, metropolitan networks. Industrial communication protocols and special SCADA protocols. Network topologies
 Week 4Communication Environments; Energy Transport Lines, Leased PTT Telephone Lines, Cable TV Lines, Radio Frequency Communication, Fiber Optic, Metallic Cable Private Lines.
 Week 5SCADA hardware, communication between computers, examination of SCADA systems, hardware and firmware. PLC/RTU selection in SCADA. RTU, PLC and DSC structure and usage PLC based SCADA system RTU based SCADA system
