The aim of the course:
Analyzing the risks caused by landslides and mapping them through various techniques constitute the primary objectives of this course. Additionally, the contents and applicabilities of heuristic and statistical-based models used in the production of landslide susceptibility maps are among the other objectives of the course.

Programme OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : Being able to master the use of heuristic and statistical models in the production of landslide susceptibility maps.1,6,
PO - 2 : Being able to acquire knowledge about the preparation of data used in the production of susceptibility maps and inventory maps.1,6,
PO - 3 : Being able to acquire knowledge about the production of susceptibility maps and conducting accuracy analyses related to the produced maps.1,6,
PO - 4 : Being able to acquire knowledge about conducting risk analyses for infrastructure and superstructure facilities based on the produced landslide susceptibility maps.6,
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), PO : Learning Outcome
