The aim of the course:
The main objective of this course is to teach Data capturing techniques for GIS and, problems and solutions for GPS and GIS format integration.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : perform transformations between different coordinate systems, which are necessary for GIS-GPS integration.1,2,41,3,

Contents of the Course
Geodetic reference systems used in GPS and GIS. GPS measurements methods for GIS, GPS receivers and their features for GIS applications, GPS data capturing techniques for GIS, GPS and GIS integration problems. Common used GPS and GIS formats and softwares, Recommendations for format integration problems of GPS and GIS.
