The aim of the course:
Introduction to the concepts of art and design - theoretical and application-oriented course covers the design elements and principles on which art and design are based, as well as application method-techniques. It is aimed to comprehend basic elements forming visual language, to introduce practical solutions to design problems, to establish relations of design elements used as visual expression tools, to reach structural integrity of design images and visualize them with application method-techniques. In this context; Visual (Plastic) In arts, it promotes sensitivity and appreciation of plastic values.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
1) The researcher, who enables mental, emotional, conceptual and mental development, gains a creative and inquisitive point of view. 2) Establish a communication network between the art product and the viewer and the practitioner. 3) Relates different disciplines of visual arts fields. 4) He expresses his observations, intuitions, impressions, associations and emotions through art product. 5) Use visual expression elements and techniques as artistic expression means. 6) Performs experimental design applications with the expression possibilities provided by various materials. 7) Gain intellectual maturity with vision, perception, recognition, meaning, association practice. 8) Based on visual narrative elements and techniques, reveals original works. 9) Visual Language, Visual Culture and Design develop consciousness. 10) Visual (Plastic) In arts, appreciate the importance of plastic values. 11) It forms the basis for producing creative design and ideas.
