The aim of the course:
To educate the students about patient history, intra oral and extra oral examination methods, systemic diseases in dentistry, basics of radiology, and dental radiography techniques for a true diagnosis and treatment planning.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Patient story, examination methods, assesment of findings, systemic diseases in dentistry and oral findings, structure and functions of saliva, x- rays ( creation, features and damages ) , detail, density, contrast and factors effecting, film processing, radiographic quality, intraoral and exraoral radiography techniques, paralactic techniques, anatomic landmarks on dental radiographies, caries radiography, radiography of periodontal tissues, radiography of trauma to teeth, radiography of temporomandibular joint, dijital imaging and advanced imaging .
