The main objectives of this course are to make students gained ability of surveying in advances level and also to practice all mesure informations learned in land

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : make triangulation plans and establish triangulation points2,61,3
LO - 2 : perform "transferring the control point to the ground level" by measuring direction and distances in triangulation networks.2,61,3
LO - 3 : perform coordinate transformation between WGS-84 and national geodetic coordinate system.2,61,3

Contents of the Course
Geodetic control networks, horizontal and vertical control networks, Definitions about various geodetic networks. Densification of Geodetic networks. Exploring missing geodetic monuments using terrestrial and GPS surveying techniques. Eccentric measurements. Transferring control point to the ground level. Planning, monumentation and measuring the third order geodetic control networks using terrestrial and GPS surveying techniques. General information about GPS. Coordinate transformation between WGS-84 and Turkish national GPS network systems. Determination of the heights of the third order geodetic control points using leveling, trigonometric leveling, and GPS., Determination the constant error value for EDM instrumentsat calibration baselines.
