The aim of the course:
The objectives of this course is to give fundamentals about in determining height special topics

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : understand importance of the height data for the map by learning height systems and height concept. Thus, they will apprehend necessity of this course for their occupation.1,51,3

Contents of the Course
General concepts, Vertical datum and reference systems. Precise levelling, Errors resources in precise leveling and error theory. Trigonometric levelling , Errors resources from trigonometric leveling. Levelling technique for valley crossing. Pedestrian and Motorised Levelling techniques. Hydrostatic leveling. Height determination by GPS.
