The aim of the course:
The main objectives of this course are to teach stake-out of plans and projects to the ground and some special measurements and computation methods in stake out of the transition curves, dam deformations, tunnel measurements, and hydrographic surveys

Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : learn the definition of staking out and will understand how to perform staking out of angles, horizontal and vertical positioning using surveying instruments.2,61,3
LO - 2 : calculate parameters of curbs and implement the curb plans in road construction projects.2,61,3
LO - 3 : perform deformation measurement on shoulder and core of dams.2,61,3
LO - 4 : sound understanding about measurement of deformations using GPS, Geodetic and Photogrammetric methods2,61,3
LO - 5 : learn hydrographic surveying methods and implementation of tunnel projects2,61,3
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), LO : Learning Outcome
