The aim of the course:
To provide that the students have idea on land valuation methods, and produce valuation maps and also they use GIS for land valuation.
 
Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Understand the terms property and valuation, and comprehend the importance of valuation in land management.11
LO - 2 : Understand methods of valuation and components of valuation in land compensation.11
LO - 3 : Understand functions of experts, and learn preparing expert reports and calculating land value.11
LO - 4 : Calculate land value using the nominal method and produce 2D-3D vale map of properties.11

Contents of the Course
Real estate, ownership and valuation concepts and importance of land valuation. Valuation legislations and methods. Determining of factors that effects value of land in valuation and unit value calculation. Valuation in privatization. Determining and updating of land valuation indexes. Instutional regulations. Producing and evaluating of land value maps. Using GIS in land valuation.
