The aim of the course:
This course tries to give a solid understanding of the nature and organisation of the genetic material, and the mechanisms of replication, transmission and change, and the processes controlling its expression.
 
Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : describe the structure of nucleic acids3
LO - 2 : explain gene organisation and expression3,4
LO - 3 : explain mutations, repair and replication of DNA3,4
LO - 4 : describe techniques of the isolation and safely manipulation of nucleic acids in the laboratory
LO - 5 : explain principles of analyses methods of nucleic acids
LO - 6 : explain basic nucleic acid manipulations
