The aim of the course:
Using the knowledge and skill acquired in NetCAD system in the previous CAD course, instruct on 3D modelling and virtual reality.

Contents of the Course
Introducing CAD systems with its general development, principles and applications; two dimensional drawings on selected CAD programme; Project design and updating; the process of Digitising.
 
Course Syllabus

 Week 1Basic Operation Systems and systematics of CAD Softwares, its history. Basic explanation of using methods of CAD systems in planning as a tool and displaying examples. Basic operation logic of NetCAD software and introduction to software.
 Week 2Installation of software; difference between multi-user and single user. Licence file and its using. Using help menus.
 Week 3Introduction to Project Menu; Adding, saving and openning projects, working with blocks, saving blocks, project properties, drawing order, deleting duplicate objects, export and import projects.
 Week 4Introduction to drawing tool; line, polyline, curve,arc, draw a parallel line, add point, consequtive point adding, symbol making and adding, rendering, writing text on project, processing to help drawing.
 Week 5Edit drawing; Area split, combine ad intersection, polyline split, exloding objects, deleting object, change level os object, change line type, change text font, change group of objects, making parallels, lenghtening the line, cut line, adjacent lines, moving, turning, mirroring and scaling the object.
 Week 6Carrying out and doing practice of courses given 2,3, and 5th weeks.
 Week 7Using the display menu, using multi projects, find limit of project, saving the screen.
 Week 8Querying menu, find objects in the project, calculate area of objects, querying coordinates, calculate distance.
 Week 9Mid-term exam
 Week 10Changing general settings of software, aranging menus, changing colors of project, adding new fonts.
 Week 11Accessory menus, selecting objects, reference menu, osnap, tyeps, details of levels
 Week 1210. weeks up to the implementation of common processes.
 Week 13Working with rasters, Raster registration, determine map projections, transformation of raster, transparant rasters, scaling, moving and trimming raster, separating raster.
 Week 14Working with rasters, Raster registration, determine map projections, transformation of raster, transparant rasters, scaling, moving and trimming raster, separating raster.
 Week 15Training of techniques of 3d maps; creating model, triangulation model, making 3d file, relief maps, pattern and animation; Practice.
 Week 16End-of-term exam
