The aim of the course:
The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a clear presentation of the theory and application of the principles simulation and application in ship production

Introduction, Manufacturing systems analysis, Design and evaluation methods of manufacturing systems. Innovative Product Design, Systems and Modeling concepts. Production planning and control techniques in Ship Production, Ship Production Process. Simulation Modeling of the Ship Production Systems: General Simulation Overview, Problem Formulation. Experimental Design, Decision Models and Decision Support. Output Analysis, Documentation. Case Study 1 & 2. Student Presentations day 1&2.
