The aim of the course:
The methods of machining processes for shaping the work pieces, tools and their properties are investigated. The information related to workbench design is given by investigating main functional parts workbenches used in machining processes.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Fundamentals of general machining processes. Tool materials. Cutting tools. Cutting forces, cutting times. Drilling, milling, turning, grinding machines and processes. Driving powers.
