The aim of the course:
The aim is to examine the political, social, cultural, economic and religious characteristics of ancient Greek society, as well as the interaction between ancient Greece and the history of Anatolian civilisation.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : To gain knowledge of the history of Ancient Greece.1,5,

PO - 3 : The ability to use the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in research and to interpret the subject from their own point of view.1,

Contents of the Course
The history of ancient Greece has undoubtedly contributed to the development of civilisation. This course will explore the place of ancient Greece in the broader historical context by examining its political, military, economic and socio-cultural history. Additionally, the course will examine city structures and architectural elements until the pre-Roman period, as well as the interactions between Anatolian and Greek civilisations.
