| Introduction to basics of pharmacology including pharmacokinetic (absorption, distribution, metabolism and elimination) and pharmacodynamics (mechanisms of drug action dose-response relations, and quantitative analysis of drug action) principals; basics of pharmacogenetics; factors that change drug action; introduction to chemotherapeutic agents- use, side effects, contrandications (antimicrobials and antineoplastic agents). |
