The aim of the course:
It aims to evaluate biochemical test results related to protein biochemistry, digestion and metabolism of proteins, carbohydrate biochemistry, digestion and metabolism of carbohydrates, lipid biochemistry, digestion and metabolism of lipids, hormone biochemistry, vitamins and coenzymes.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : They recognize the basic concepts of biochemistry.6 - 7 - 8 - 101,5,
LO - 2 : They understand the importance of biochemistry in diagnosing diseases.6 - 7 - 8 - 101,5,
LO - 3 : They gain knowledge about the tests measured in the biochemistry laboratory.6 - 7 - 8 - 101,5,
LO - 4 : They gain the ability to understand the control mechanisms of metabolic pathways.6 - 7 - 8 - 101,5,
LO - 5 : They learn the classification of amino acids and the basic structure of peptides and proteins.6 - 7 - 8 - 101,5,
LO - 6 : They try to interpret biochemical tests for diseases related to proteins.6 - 7 - 8 - 101,5,
LO - 7 : They will learn the classification of vitamins, their general properties, and the structures and functions of minerals. 6 - 7 - 8 - 101,5,
