The aim of the course:
To provide information about the chemical groups, effects and uses of nutraceuticals and food supplements for healthy living.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

 Week 5Carbohydrates and their derivatives: Ascorbic acid, Oligosaccharides, Non-starch polysaccharides
 Week 6Fatty acids and lipid-based compounds: n-3 PUFA, Sphingolipids, CLA, Lecithin, MUFA
