The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to introduce the basic concepts of the field of Management Information Systems (MIS) and to enable students to understand the role, importance and functions of information systems in organizations. In addition, students learn the strategic use of information technology and its impact on digital transformation.

Contents of the Course
Fundamentals of information and information systems, MIS concept, types of information systems, system development life cycle, data and information management, artificial intelligence, expert systems, digital transformation, e-commerce, ethics and security will be discussed.
