| The definition, scope, and systematic structure of landscape are addressed, and the position and functions of landscape are evaluated at various landscape scales. The necessity of survey and analysis studies for the resolution of landscape ecosystems, the relationships between abiotic and biotic factors that constitute the structure of the landscape, the classification of plants according to climate types, Turkey's main plant communities, environmental pollution issues, the fundamental causes of pollution, and its effects at the landscape scale are discussed.
