The aim of the course:
To teach mechanics and thermodynamics through hands-on experiments. To equip students with the knowledge and skills to write scientific reports, prepare scientific presentations, and evaluate research results.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : They learn the application of mechanics and thermodynamics.1 - 3 - 6 - 74,

LO - 3 : They learn simple harmonic motion collision experiments.1 - 3 - 6 - 74,

LO - 5 : They interpret experimental results, make critical assessments, and draw valid conclusions by comparing measured values with previous measurements.3 - 64,

Contents of the Course
General introduction to the Mechanics Laboratory, length and length measuring instruments, precision scales, and experiments on density measurements, free fall, projectile motion, friction and frictional motion, springs and oscillations, mathematical and physical pendulums, Atwood apparatus, calorimeters, Melting temperature of ice and collisions.
