The aim of the course:
Defining the urbanization and evaluating relations between zonning plan implementation and modern urbanization.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Learn the concepts land management, property and land object and also the Cadastre 2014 Vision.3.16,
LO - 2 : Understand the tools for implementing land management, methods of implementing zoning plans, and the changes/developments in the low for Land Compensation.3.26,
LO - 3 : Learn general approaches for Land Readjustment, and the development phase of Land Readjustment both in Turkey and in the World.7.36,
LO - 4 : Prepare/implement a Land Readjustment project, and do all required calculations.7.46,
LO - 5 : Urban Renewal, condominium regulation, implementation of zoning plan reforms (articles 10-b/c of related regulation), be able to calculate shares for condominium rights.3.16,

Contents of the Course
Areas of interests and roles of Land Management. The concept of Sustainable Land Management. The concept of Property. Local authorities and their duties. Revision of large scale topographic maps. Kinds of plans ? environmental, regional and zoning. Kinds of zoning plans and their implementation. Regulation for urbanization and the concept of urbanization. Roles of surveyors in preparing zoning plans. Methods of implementing zoning plans. Land compensation. Land Readjustment. Application of zoning plan reforms (articles 10-b/c of related regulation) . Evaluation of alternative land parcel allocation methods. An overview of land valuation. Application of condominium rights. Coastal law. The use of Geographical/Urban/Land Information Systems in Land Management.

 Week 3Cadastral concepts. An overview of land management. Cadastre 2014 vision
 Week 4An overview of land management tools. Zoning plan implementation methods. The concept of expropriation.
 Week 5General approaches to Land-Land Regulation (LLR) for urban area regulation.
 Week 6Introduction to the land and plot regulation term project. Introduction to the procedures to be performed within the scope of AAD. Providing information on the universal and societal impacts of AAD implementation on health, the environment, and safety.
 Week 7Designing a complex system, the AAD application, to meet specific requirements under realistic constraints and conditions.
 Week 8Regulation of partnership share accounts. Audit of application data linked to DOP accounts.
 Week 9Midterm exam
 Week 10Subdivision approaches and processes. Interpreting data related to zoning plans. Designing the complex process of distribution to meet specific needs under realistic constraints and conditions.
 Week 11Raising awareness about the importance of redistribution and parcel allocation in the EAAD and the legal consequences of engineering solutions.
 Week 12Providing information about the general evaluation of the AAD, its impact on the plan implementation process and the problems experienced today.
 Week 13Urban Transformation approach and its applications. Basic criteria and the role of the parties in the applications.
 Week 14Condominium legislation and its application. Calculation of goodwill and shares in the transition to condominium ownership.
 Week 15Coastal legislation. Determination of coastal edge lines. Analysis of the relationship between coast and plan.
