Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : Students will understand the basic concepts, components, and functions of Geographic Information Systems and comprehend the importance of GIS in the field of landscape architecture.1,2
PO - 2 : Students will effectively use widely utilized GIS software (such as ArcGIS, QGIS) to analyze and visualize geographic data.1,2
PO - 3 : Students will acquire skills in collecting geographic data from various sources (satellite images, aerial photographs, digital maps), integrating this data into a GIS environment, and conducting analyses.1,2
PO - 4 : Students will design and manage effective projects in landscape architecture using GIS-based analysis and planning methods.1,2
PO - 5 : Students will explore the applications of GIS in environmental sustainability and natural resource management, learning how to use GIS in sustainable design and planning processes in landscape architecture.1,2
