Aim of the course is to apply theoretical knowledge of public finance to solve Turkish public finance problems.

Contents of the Course
Public sector in turkish economy: central government, local administrations, social security authorities, extra budgetary funds, public enterprises, revolving funds; public sector borrowing requirements; debt burden; allocation role of public sector: public sector decision making, public choice theory; economic stability role of public sector; income distribution and public sector.
