The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to evaluate urban green infrastructure systems and develop planning strategies for the development of these systems.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : They will relate the functions of green infrastructures and their impact on climate6
PO - 2 : They will be able to evaluate landscape metrics and how these metrics affect changes in the ecosystem through numerical calculations.6

Contents of the Course
Green infrastructure elements, ecological, economic, aesthetic and functional functions of green infrastructures, planning of green infrastructures, integrity and fragmentation in the landscape, landscape metrics, environmental effects of land fragmentation, point sizes and calculation and interpretation of fragmentation-related metrics, number of point sizes, texture diversity and distribution and arrangement of points in the land texture
