The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to provide the students with basic information about water treatment technology.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

PO - 2 : Recognize accumulation and ventilation methods at water treatment structures.1,3
PO - 3 : Express precipitation and filtration techniques at water treatment structures.1,3

Contents of the Course
Introduction, method of treatment, accumulation, ventilation, flocculation, filtration, disinfection, odor and taste control, iron and manganese removal, aggressive features of water and its stabilization.
