The aim of this course is ecosystem based coastal landscape planning and characterizations of coastal landscapes.

Contents of the Course
Coastal landscape formations, the importance of the coasts in terms of landscape, landscape character, landscape character definitions in coastal areas, coastal plantings, changes seen on the coasts over time, coast-human interactions and coastal parks in terms of landscape character, benefiting from the existing green area opportunities on the coasts, the place of the coasts in urban identities, deterioration coastal revitalization strategies
