Contents of the Course
Turkish Foreign Policy (TFP) courses should start from the last ages of Ottoman State. Especially Abdulhamit-II's (1876-1809) reign TFP was formulated on a balance perspective and the main aim was to guarantee the survival. TFP, organized by Abdulhamit-II prolonged Ottoman State's life. During Union and Progess Party term (1909-1918) TFP shifted from its balanced perspecitve but after the proclamation of Republic it is again achieved a balance policy. Hatay (1939), Cyprus (July-August 1974) were revizionist initatives but TFP did not change its traditional perspective.
