Contents of the Course
Theory of public goods: efficiency provision of public goods. Economic rationalization of public sector: equity, efficiency, public goods and externalities. Tools of Public Economics: analysis of public expenditure and public income. Theory of taxation: progressive and flat taxation, optimum taxation theory. Welfare economics and its explanation
