The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to provide the students with a general information on new arguments on politic philosophy and philosopher. In this way, students will be able to recognize contemporary political movements and discussions.

Contents of the Course
In today's world most controversial issues are discussed with the political philosophy. Marxism and post marxism are discussed. Examined the relationship between the republic and citizenship. In this context, today's democracies is examined carefully. Liberalism, public sphere, communitarianism, citizenship and similar concepts are also discussed. Basic issues are: Contemporary political philosophy and philosophers. Feminism, multi-culturalism, identity arguments, postmodernism, citizenship, civil society and democracy, communitarianism and radical democracy.
