Introduction to control theory, classical control theory and transform theory, continous-time systems: Laplace transform, discrete-time systems: z-transform, preliminaries for matrix theory, matrix solutions for linear systems, linear control systems, controllability, observability, controllability and polynomials, linear feedback, constant systems, varying systems, stability, definitions of stability, algebraic criteria of linear systems, Nyquist theory for linear systems, Liapunov theory, Application of Liapunov theory to the linear systems, Construction of Liapunov functions, stability and control, nonlinear feedback, optimal control, performance indices, calculus of variations, Pontryagins principle, linear regulator, dynamical programming. |
