The aim of the course:
To introduce the main topics of coastal sediment transport to the students.

Wave transformation mathematical modelling of coastal changes. Physical properties of coastal materials. Longshore sediment transport. Sources and sinks. Crosshore sediment transport and coastal profiles. Coastal changes due to coastal structures. Measures to reduce the coastal changes. Measurement of coastal line changes.
