The aim of the course:
To give basic knowledge about reinforced concrete bridges

Contents of the Course
Introduction. General knowledge and definitions. Classification of bridges; slab bridges, slab-beam (siple, break-front, Gerber, truss, grid) bridges, frame bridges, arch (with three and two joints, bowstring and fixed) bridges, and suspended bridges. Loads according to T. C. Highway Specificaiton. Reinforced concrete specifications and basic bridge supports. Joints. Middle and end foots. Typical bridge projects.
