By giving basics of design, design principles and elements, it aims to enhance the creativity of the student by practical applications. Basic concepts , which can be used during the life of profession, will be described to the students with some practical Works and discussion. |

Basic Design Elements According to Gestalt Theory; Point, Line, Shape, Measure, Proportion, Direction, Pattern, Color, Value elements and applications ofthese concepts. Principles of Visual Perception; Visual Communication and Visual Perception: Figure-Ground Articulation, Proximity Principle, Common Fate Principle, Similarity Principle, Continuity Principle, Closure Principle, Good Gestalt Principle and applications of these concepts. Basic Design Principles According to Gestalt Theory; Repetition, Harmony, Contrast, Hierarchy, Dominance, Balance, Unity and applications of these concepts. |
