The birth and research areas of daily life and material culture studies, the elements of Ottoman daily life and the world of material culture reflecting it will be evaluated by considering social dynamics. Within the scope of daily life and material culture elements; the neighbourhood structure that constitutes the field of daily life, the legal system that regulates the relations of people with each other, the religious life of each nation, production and trade relations, education, kitchen, shelter, clothing, health, communication and entertainment will be discussed. Each subject to be discussed within the scope of the course will be examined together with the process of formation-development-development. |
