The aim of the course:
To teach basic and principles of Pharmaceutical microbiology to undergraduate students.

Contents of the Course
The history and working fields of microbiology, Characteristics and classification of bacteria, chlamydia, rickettsia, fungi, parasites and viruses, Pharmaceutical industry and microbiology, Bacterial metabolism and genetic, Antibiotics and antibiotic resistance development mechanisms, Host parasite associations, Infection diseases and the role of pharmacist, Role of bacteria, fungi, viruses, prions and parasites in disease and important diseases which they cause, Hospital infections and emerging diseases and human microbiome in health and disease.
