The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to teach the emergence and historical development of the very idea of international organisation and to introduce the founding reasons, types, structures, functions, missions and members of international organisations that have a significant position in the international system.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
This course focuses on the emergence and development of the very idea of international organisation in the context of international organisations that have important positions in the international system such as the UN, Bretton Woods institutions, the EU, NATO, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, Amnesty International, etc.
