The aim of the course:
Ecological and economic importance of lichens and fungi, pests and inform on issues such as the struggle

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Diversity of lichens and fungi on earth, and in Turkey, the number of such databases, habitat, substrate and expansion areas will have advanced knowledge about the competence to pursue and reach the relevant literature5,7,8
LO - 2 : Bioindicators of air pollution and air quality monitoring lichens and fungi in biomonitoring studies on the use of technical and theoretical knowledge to determine the appropriate methods wins5,7,8
LO - 3 : With the terminology of lichen and fungi live on the biological structure of the group's in-depth and advanced with the basic information about the research gains the ability to use 5,7,8

Contents of the Course
Fungi kingdom, and general characteristics. Lichens ecosystem roles, and general characteristics. The importance of biodiversity, assembly methods, diagnostic methods, teaching, ecological and economic importance. The structure of lichen (fotobiyont) biological structure and properties of algae. Lichen Symbiosis (common life). Growth and development. Lichen physiology, respiration, photosynthesis, nutrient and mineral substances cycle, Biochemistry and secondary metabolites. Lichen ecology and biogeographic distributions. Systematic and classification. Turkey mushrooms, ecologically and economically beneficial (food, medicine, etc.), losses (pathogens) are.
