The aim of the course:
Definition of genus and species of trees in terms of features and the importance of wild animals to accept these.
 
Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Have the ability to distinguish the tree and other vascular plants, and to understand vegetative and generative organs of tree species. 7,8,91,
LO - 2 : Have the ability to identify the genera of trees using vegetative and generative organs. 7,8,91,4,
LO - 3 : Gain the perspective of using the knowledge both of forest type and tree distribution in Turkey in order to prepare management plans. 7,8,91,4,

Contents of the Course
On the natural and artificial ecosystems Seed Plants (Gymnosperms) and Indoor Seed Plants (angiosperm) 's systematic taxonomic units, such kind of underground and above categories, genera and species descriptive characteristics, in terms of wild animals (nesting, feeding, breeding, et al.) importance of trees and habitat characteristics (distribution elevations, climatic requirements, spread vegetation types).
