Instilling awareness of participation in geodetic activities, and understanding the duties and responsibilities of engineers

Contents of the Course
This course focuses on examining the applications of Geomatics Engineering across various sectors, including public institutions, private enterprises, and academia. The role, duties, and responsibilities of the geomatics engineer are discussed, along with the intersections between geomatics and other professional disciplines. Multidisciplinary project environments and professional collaborations are explored in depth. The course also addresses current technologies used in the field, ongoing sectoral transformations, and potential areas for future development. Learning is supported through case studies and field observations, helping students to better understand their career orientations and the evolving landscape of the profession.
