The aim of the course:
To give information about the concept of labor law, history, characteristics, organization and individual labor law and to prepare students for working life.

Contents of the Course
Labour law is a branch of law that regulates the relationships between employers, employees, and trade unions. This course will cover fundamental concepts of labour law, including key terms such as worker, employer, workplace, employer's representative, and subcontractor. It will also address the formation, content, and termination of employment contracts, the obligations of employers and employees, working conditions, working hours, annual paid leave, overtime, and occupational health and safety. Types of dismissal, redundancy payments, collective labour agreements and their benefits, as well as the concepts of strike and lockout, trade union membership, union activities, and the legal bodies of trade unions will also be discussed. This course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the legal framework governing working life, helping them learn about their rights and responsibilities.
