Rural areas and rural development. Agricultural policy and its history in Turkey. Structural analysis of the Turkish Agricultural sector and the Common Agricultural Policy of the EU. Agriculture and agricultural production concepts, and the factors effecting agricultural production. Developments in organic agriculture and its importance. Precision agriculture technologies. Soil-Land classification. Agricultural holdings in Turkey and their properties. Scattered agricultural lands and their effects to agricultural holdings. Reasons for scattered agricultural land, and scattered land in Turkey. Basic information on land consolidation. Land consolidation implementation in Turkey. Implementation of land consolidation in some other countries, and samples of rural land management (village renewal, rural development) . Basic phases of land consolidation. Surveying in land consolidation. Introduction to some sample land consolidation projects. |
