The aim of the course:
This course aims to make the student ready for a molecular biology researches by equipping them well on gene cloning methods, modification enzymes, basic molecular biological techniques, cloning and expression in proper prokaryotic and eukaryotic vectors, gene expression in prokaryotes and yeast and things needs to be paid attention for a good expression.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Isolation and idendification of DNA fragments. Ligation, plasmid vectors, cloning in procaryotes and eucaryotes. Gene libraries. Idendification of recombinant dna. Mutagenesis.
