The aim of the course:
Non-wood forest products (NWFP) plant products, animal products, forest services and functions, as well as non-fibrous products obtained from factory wastewater will be introduced and information will be provided on their processing in the industry. In particular, the production of plant products, their processing in the industry and their chemical structures will be examined. The medicinal and aromatic plant sector and its evaluation in our country will be explained. The essential oil production sector in our country will be introduced.

Contents of the Course
Definition and scope of non-wood forest products, Importance and classification of non-wood forest products, Problems in the production and evaluation of non-wood forest products in our country, Production of important non-wood plant products in our country, chemical composition and industrial usage areas. Resin sources, Production and chemical structure of standing tree (Oleoresin), Production and chemical structure of extraction resin, Production and chemical structure of tall-oil resin, Production and chemical properties of sweetgum oil, Production and chemical properties of bay laurel oil, Medicinal and aromatic plants in our country and their evaluation, Production and evaluation of essential oil in our country, Production and evaluation of blue berries, Production and evaluation of sumac, acorn, arborvitae, pine nut, chestnut, production and chemical properties, Utilization of shell and Properties and use of plant tanning agents will be covered.
