FOUNDATION & HISTORY  
First, in 2005, opened its doors to education Vocational School Vakfıkebir that day to this day, and increasing the number of students beginning with the 2008-2009 academic year and first teaching programs continues to serve.

ADMISSION & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS  
1 - Admission to first year students of Business Administration Program, organized by Measuring, Selection and Placement Center selection and placement is performed according to the results. Students admitted to the program the first registrations, with the approval of University President's Office determined of the specified days is performed by the Head of Student Affairs. Students admitted to the university of the records listed below for the exact replication of conditions must be fulfilled.
a) High school or equivalent degree from a school is a diploma or official document to be presented,
b) Health status and military service or similar aspects in terms of not disabled.
Precise enrolls of the accepted and have provided the above conditions for the students, to provide the requested documents and other fees and charges were found in the case of payments are made by the Head of Student Affairs.
OBJECTIVE of THE PROGRAMME  
The curriculum includes four semesters of Business Administration Program, business management, financial management, computerized accounting, public law, professional skills and qualifications, such as computer and statistics courses are intended to bring. First-class curriculum, general education courses, as well as basic job (field) courses are also included. Second-class curriculum, which aims to specialize in professional (field) is the weight classes. In the program, business and enterprise, production, management, law related to the competencies students will be offered. Students are taught theoretical knowledge required for the profession, at the same time, professional applications are made and vocational skills are gained. At the end of the first class of the program, 20-day vocational training and at the end of the second class 20-day vocational training to be a total of 40 days professional training period takes place. Thus, the theory-practice opportunity can be ensured.
RECOGNATION of PRIOR LEARNING  
The "Directive on Recognition of Prior Learning", Senate Decision No. 340 issued on July 28, 2023, has been accepted and entered into force regarding the students registered in all programs of Karadeniz Technical University to determine the principles to be followed for the recognition, crediting, and adaptation of the achievements acquired by the students at non-university institutions.

In this Directive,

- recognition of knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired with special interest through an exemption exam to be substituted as program courses,
- recognition of workplace and internship experiences through portfolio evaluation to be substituted as program courses,
- and the crediting of certificates received from accredited institutions regarding students' special interests are covered.

Announcements of courses included in the scope of recognition of prior learning, applications, and evaluation will be made on the dates specified in the academic calendar. Recognition of prior learning will offer numerous benefits to our students and employers. For our students, increasing professional development and mobility in the labour market, preventing repetition of education and waste of time, providing early graduation, reducing the cost of learning, encouraging learning, and increasing the student's motivation and self-confidence can be counted among the benefits of recognition of prior learning. From the employers' perspectives, it will contribute to satisfying skill or competence deficiencies in the workplace, reducing the time employees spend outside the workplace for training purposes, and thus using resources more efficiently.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS and REGULATIONS  
Four half-year results from the program will graduate students in 36 courses (total 118 credits) will be completed successfully. Students can graduate up to 40 working days are required to do their internship. Students who have completed 39 courses and 40 working days their compulsory internship, eligible to receive the associate diploma and will be graduate.
EXAMINATION, ASSESSMENT and GRADING REGULATIONS  
In a course each semester, One midterm exam and one final exam are required at the end of each semester.
The contribution of the midterm and final exams to the letter grade is 50%.
Final exams, announced by the president of department or the directorate of higher place, date and time spread over two weeks is done. Head of Student Affairs in this regard will also provide information. A course to enter the final exam, registered for the first time this course and at least 70% of the courses taken, application and/or laboratories are required to attend at least 80%. Fail to meet these requirements the student will not be taken to the final exam. These students (D) discontinuous letter grade is given.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS  
Four half-year results from the program will graduate students in 36 courses (total 118 credits) will be completed successfully. Students can graduate up to 40 working days are required to do their internship. 39 lessons and 40 working days in which students who complete their compulsory internship will be graduating.
OCCUPATIONAL PROFILES of GRADUATES  
Medium and large-scale enterprises, Accounting, Finance and Marketing Department as the professional personnel.
ACCESS to FURTHER STUDIES  
After graduating students about their part of the faculty (Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, etc.) may switch vertical. But for that, first successfully graduating from our school and conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center realized Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) is required to take the necessary grade. Business Administration Program students who have graduated from, Vertical Migration to gain Examination in Banking, Banking and Finance, Banking and Finance, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Business, Business Information Management, Islete Information Technology, Business Education, Business Administration-Economics, Logistics Management, Health Institutions Management, Capital Markets, Insurance, Insurance and Risk Management, International Finance

DEPARTMENTAL FACILITIES : 
In our vocational school, a computer lab which has 40 computers is open to use of students. All of the computer, internet connection, although with very useful software applications for accounting students are ready for use. Students in programs, accounting software programs such as LUCA, ETA, LOGO and LINK by advanced computing are taught in accordance with the requirements of the era.Also, various certificate programs are organized for students in the program (such as ISO9001: 2008 KALİTE, ISO9001: 2008 İÇ DENETÇİ, DIŞ TİCARETTE STANDARDİZASYON and DTÖ).
Open to students during office hours a library is maintained. In the library, business and business management in relation to an indefinite term and many publications are included. In addition, students interested in the library with Internet access issues as they can freely conduct research. Besides this, students can also benefit from the opportunity to have the main library where located in the Karadeniz Technical University Kanuni Campus in Trabzon.
School buildings on the ground flor has beeb allocated a canteen which is students' free time between classes and they can evaluate. Students affiliated to the Karadeniz Technical University Mountaineering and Winter Sports, Chess, Photography, Business and Economics at such clubs can be a member and ask if they can get in the school's various sports teams in the task.
