FOUNDATION & HISTORY  
Karadeniz Technical University Maçka Vocational High School was established on 07/05/1996 in accordance with article number 7/d-2 of Higher Education Law.Organization Management Program started education in 2005-2006 Academic Year.

ADMISSION & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS  
1 - The acceptance to the first year of Vocational High Schools is done according to the results of Student Selection and Placement Exam given by Student Selection and Placement Center.Students are required to provide the following conditions for final registration: a)To present an official document or diploma showing that he/she has graduated from a Lycee or an equivalent school b)Having no handicaps such as health problems or military service
OBJECTIVE of THE PROGRAMME  
5. associate degree program that aims to bring the level of academic and vocational qualifications. Educational activities are being carried out by four academic personnel , an assistant professor, two instructors and a lecturer. The physical and social facilities of the school are utilized together with other programs.
RECOGNATION of PRIOR LEARNING  
The "Directive on Recognition of Prior Learning", Senate Decision No. 340 issued on July 28, 2023, has been accepted and entered into force regarding the students registered in all programs of Karadeniz Technical University to determine the principles to be followed for the recognition, crediting, and adaptation of the achievements acquired by the students at non-university institutions.

In this Directive,

- recognition of knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired with special interest through an exemption exam to be substituted as program courses,
- recognition of workplace and internship experiences through portfolio evaluation to be substituted as program courses,
- and the crediting of certificates received from accredited institutions regarding students' special interests are covered.

Announcements of courses included in the scope of recognition of prior learning, applications, and evaluation will be made on the dates specified in the academic calendar. Recognition of prior learning will offer numerous benefits to our students and employers. For our students, increasing professional development and mobility in the labour market, preventing repetition of education and waste of time, providing early graduation, reducing the cost of learning, encouraging learning, and increasing the student's motivation and self-confidence can be counted among the benefits of recognition of prior learning. From the employers' perspectives, it will contribute to satisfying skill or competence deficiencies in the workplace, reducing the time employees spend outside the workplace for training purposes, and thus using resources more efficiently.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS and REGULATIONS  
On condition of having no disciplinary punishment other than warning throughout university studentship, students must have an average of 3- 3.5 and the minimum course load for the term to be on the honor roll and an average of over 3.51 and the minimum course load to be on the high honor roll.
EXAMINATION, ASSESSMENT and GRADING REGULATIONS  
Every semester, students are given a mid-term exam,and other interm studies such as projects, seminars, quizzes,assignments,and the like ,or a second mid-term exam and a final exam for each course.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS  
In order to get A Vocational High School Diploma, students are required to have a general average of 2 out of 4, which is stated on the graduation certificate.
OCCUPATIONAL PROFILES of GRADUATES  
Our graduates can be employed as management ocupational personnel in public instutions, private enterprises, or after providing the legal requiremens, they can run their own businesses.
ACCESS to FURTHER STUDIES  
After receiving their 2-year-under graduate degree, our students can register in Management, Finance, Public Relations, Public Administration departments of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty without taking an exam.
